Whether you're a skier, snowboarder, or snowshoer, here's a gadget for those cold winter days. The Austrian Footwarmer is a wafer-thin, flexible, insole-heating element that you simply slip into each boot. A flat wire is connected to a removable battery pack that you can wear on the outside of your boots. The footwarmers come with three heat settings, ranging from 99-158 degrees. You can go up to 10 hours between charging the battery, depending on the setting you choose. According to the seller, the footwarmers install in less than 5 minutes. They are $130 a pair from Herrington Catalogue.
Great gadget! Keeps me on my jogging schedule longer during those cold winter days.
