Ok, I admit there's nothing intrinsically fitnessy about these iPod headphones from Apple, but I'm tempted to order them to use in the weight room. I've tried the belt clip and the arm band for my iPod mini (I know... I've still got the mini; it's sooo 2004), but either way leaves a lot of loose cord between the ear plugs and the iPod. I broke my first pair of headphones last summer by getting the stray cord wrapped around a weight bunch and of course replacements run $40. (I tried cheaper ones but they were yucky.) So, I'm thinking the lanyard headphones might work since there's much less cord to get wrapped around things. The only thing I don't like is that the ipod swings free, so it could bump into things when I lay on my stomach for leg curls and what not. Thoughts?
The iPod lanyard is available from the Apple store for $40: https://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=MA093G/A
